Average Rating: Rating: - It's a must have... This kept our son busy while we could eat dinner most of the time! He would jump and jump...giggling the whole time. I also used it when I took showers...I was able to watch him from the shower doorway and he was HAPPY!! Much better than the johnny jump up brand...the bumper kept him from ever bumping his head. Believe me...we tried both and returned the johnnny jump up! Rating: - The Mother of All Jumpers I have a six month little boy, and was first introduced to jumpers by my sitter who watches my son during the day. She had purchased one from a garage sale and my son absolutely loved it. So my husband and I ran right out to [my local store] and picked up this one. To our displeasure the soft cloth sides did not offer the support that other one did. His arms kept sliding into the holes where his legs were supposed to go or out the front and he kept getting tangled. Plus, the spring was much tighter making it more difficult for him to bounce. He got frustrated quickly. We quickly put it back in its box and returned it. The Graco Jumpster is 100% better. It has a plastic frame of support all the way around, it's easy to adjust and my son can easily jump around to his heart's content. I'd recommend this one to anyone. Rating: - A necessity! Once baby begins to get his "sea legs", so to speak, it's time to encourage him to use them. Somewhere between 2-3 months (depending on your baby), babies start testing themselves by standing on your lap while you hold their sides or trunk. Enter the Jumpster (sometimes referred to as a Johnny Jump-Up). This little baby has a spring clasp that attaches over your doorway (provided the doorway has molding or a frame of some sort)and allows baby to test his new legs to his heart's content! Even babies without perfect neck control can enjoy this- thanks to the high back feature, our 11 week old can lean back and prop himself up, swaying back and forth. Once baby gets big enough, it's a treat for you and him to watch him really bounce around- they can literally entertain themselves for hours. I always found the Jumpster to be especially handy when I wanted to cook dinner- I'd put my babies in the kitchen doorway while I cooked so I could keep an eye on them. And, I haven't met one baby that doesn't love this. At under thirty bucks, you can't go wrong.
