Average Rating: Rating: - Mother of twins has two of these As a mother of twins I registered for two of these bouncers. Let me first start off by saying that they are lifesavers! My girls were born early at 34 weeks (4.5 lbs each) and were very small when they came home from the NICU. I was concerned at first about the steep angle that other reviewers mentioned but decieded to try them out anyway. They fit just fine (there is a head roll that helps support them). Also if your baby has reflux like my two did you will love this bouncer -the steeper angle helps control spitting up and vomiting. My girls practically lived in their seats the first two months. One of my problems with this bouncer was the location of the batteries (under the seat, so the baby has to be out of it to change them) when the vibration feature stops the baby starts to wake up and you have to get them out to switch batteries -it would be so much easier if it was located somewhere else so you could switch them quickly before the baby was fully awake and could go back to sleep before they even knew it stopped. The other problem with this bouncer (and both of mine do it) is that the vibration feature sometimes does not turn on -you have to hit the white front panel to get it going (it doesn't happen very often). Otherwise it's a cute bouncer with wonderful colors, melodies and vibration, its easy to wash and has a nice umbrella feature that's perfect for keeping the sun off the baby when we go to the park. My girls are 2 1/2 mo. now and these will be of use for a long time. Rating: - Cute but not well-engineered Just like another reviewer, my twins were born early at 33 weeks weighing just over 4 lbs each. Very small and prone to spitting up, my babies' slept in these bouncies after every feeding for the first 3 months to avoid choking. It wasn't until I received a gift of another two bouncies that I realized how much nicer the Fisher Price ones are in many ways as compared to John Lennon: 1) much too upright - have to prop front legs up about six inches so babies' do not flop forwards (Fisher Price bouncies were perfect). 2) batteries - have to find philip's head screwdriver to change batteries (Fisher Price just need coin). 3) vibration unit - after just a couple of weeks, started rattling noisily (Fisher Price nice and quiet). 4) toy bar - while cute to adults, does not attract babies' attention (Fisher Price has mirror and colorful toys babies' love). 5) seat strap - although tightness is adjustable widthwise, the length is too long so I have to roll up a couple of times before clipping (Fisher Price is not adjustable, but is perfect as is). I think that besides the digital Imagine song (which one can only listen to so much), the fabric is the only nice feature. Rating: - It worked for awhile I received this bouncer as a shower gift and it was a lifesaver....for awhile! Initially when we assembled it, my husband bent the frame back slightly because our newborn son was too upright. It should be tilted back more. Also, after about 2 months of use, the vibration feature stopped working. Now that my son is 3 months old, he is too long for this bouncer. We just invested in the Kick N Play bouncer by Fisher Price and he loves it. I would recommend the Kick N Play instead.
