Average Rating: Rating: - Cradle Swing I'm a day care provider and I have two different kinds of swings and by far the Fisher Price- cradle swing seems to calm the babies a lot faster and longer. Some of my new parents have actually return their swing to get the cradle swing after seeing how well it works to calm their child. Rating: - Love it Having a fussy baby, this swing is a lifesaver. We bought it because of the cradel feature, which is great for a newborn. She sleeps in it very soundly for quite a while. She also loves to swing and watch the mobile when she is awake. In fact, she spends a good part of the day in there. She fusses in her bouncer and needs constant motion when we hold her as well. This is my second child. The first hated a swing we had for her. But for this baby, it's a neccesity and she loves it. By the way, according to the author of "The Happiest Baby on the Block", babies love the fast motion and it soothes them, which is true in my case. Rating: - Great design! I have to say that this was a bit tricky to put together, expecially since you have to use a wrench, but I am not a mechanic, so bear with me. Once together, when putting batteries in, the little cover is a hassle to get opened. Before putting Baby in, I tested it to make sure it worked. Im so happy with the variety of speeds this has! There are so many options as to how many things that you want to be on at once. At first the swing looked a bit too reclined back, but it wasnt until later that I discovered that it can be adjusted. The tray is cute, expecially with the little toy. the moter is a bit noisy, but I dont consider that a negative thing, since it lulls baby right to sleep. The cradled design keeps baby feeling safe and secure, not to mention keeping his head from flopping around. Not to mention you can choose the direction you want it to swing in! Positive: Big variety of speeds Lots of options for how you want it to swing Adjustable position Tray with a toy for Baby Cradled design Negative: Time-consuming to put together With a great design, I highly reccomend this product
