Average Rating: Rating: - Find another tub -- If I could give it zero stars, I would. When my son was born, he weighed 8lbs., 9 oz., and he slid down in this tub when we attempted to bathe him in it. Now he is five months old and weighs approximately 16 pounds, and he is too big for the tub, but much too young to use the tub in its seat mode, which is intended for 18-month old babies. The tub is called a "4-stage" bath system, but the instruction sheet shows only two stages, a reclining tub and an upright seat. Rating: - Not as great as it seems!! We thought this would be a great tub, but have since gone back to a standard baby tub (TOYS 'R US brand that has the two holders in it). This tub was way too short for our daughter, even at 4 months, and all that she did was slide all over in it. Even when we tried it again when she was old enough to sit up, it was not helpful to us. Now that she's sitting up, we bought one of those rotating bath seats that suction to the bottom of the tub...........much better, and lighter, too! Rating: - 4 stage??? more like 4 days... This is supposed to be four stages. They must think we are pretty dumb, because even if you read the box the tub only has 2 positions, the other "2" stages apply only to the age of your child. Even with just the two stages, I found this system terrible. As an infant my son would get his toes hung up under the bar, and when he was 4 months old (in the 50th percentile), he barely fit in it. So I tried to convert it, and it is so upright that my son would sink to the bottom. It was such a pain that we actually wound up just bathing him in the shower for a while. ... Well, I have used it less times than I can count on both hands and at 4 months it was completely useless. Save your money.
