Average Rating: Rating: - The Only Diaper Bag You'll Need I went through three Land's End diaper bags with my first two children -- they had all the compartments I needed and the Land's End name, but they just didn't hold up to constant abuse, food crumbs, zipper jams, etc. I've always equated the name Eddie Bauer with rugged outdoors stuff, and I took the chance and got this one for my third. I haven't regretted the move. It is spacious without being overly big, with pleny of compartments for diapers, wipes, toys, clothing changes, blankets, nursing pads and ointment, you name it. The outer pockets can hold bottle or, for other nursing moms like me, little toys you can quickly access to keep baby amused. The material is durable and easily cleaned, and it's not overly babyish with dancing animals all over it. It matches the Eddie Bauer travel system, too... definitely a must-have purchase for parents to be. Rating: - great bag This is a great diaper bag. It is stylish and just the right size. Also, my husband doesn't even mind carrying it. Great value for the dollar. I would definitely purchase this bag again or as a gift. Rating: - Nice size and compartments but not very sturdy I chose this bag because of the color (navy instead of a cutesy baby pattern) and size. I assumed because it was Eddie Bauer that I didn't need to worry about poor quality. We used the bag regularly for about a month and a half and noticed that the pad on the shoulder strap started to come apart. The plaid cording around the base was also starting to fray. The bag had only been to and from Gramma's and work a few times and already looked like it had been through 2 kids. I took it back to Babies R Us and they told me that I would need a receipt to return/exchange it. By this time, I had thrown out all the receipts from my shower. The manager agreed that the bag should hold up better than that and allowed me to exchange it for the same one. I hesitated but didn't have any choice. If this one doesn't hold up I'm contacting Eddie Bauer directly. Choose the Eddie Bauer "sport" version over this one. It's almost the same size and the material seems much more durable. I wish I would have seen that one when I registered.
