Average Rating: Rating: - Best Bottle Available Being a first time mom, I purchased a couple of every brand of bottle on the market. My plan was to try them out and decide which worked best for my baby. Dr. Browns bottles are the best hands down!! Some bottles my baby wouldn't even take due to the nipple, and others created so many bubbles and vacuum problems that she slurped and gurggled every time she'd drink. The difference when she'd drink from a Dr. Brown's bottle was amazing. Her latch-on to the nipple was natural, and the flow of milk during drinking was smooth and continuous. My baby also had gas issues, but they were greatly reduced when she drank from Dr. Browns. You could SEE the difference in air flow by just watching the milk. No bubbles were seen! So many mothers had raved about the Avent bottles, but my baby couldn't keep a constant suction on their nipples, so they were the first to be pitched in the garbage after watching her practically gag on milk. My little girl is ready to move on to 8 oz bottles, and I'll only buy the Dr. Browns. Rating: - BOTTLE IS WONDERFUL!! nothing else worked My son is now 4 weeks old he got colic starting last week. I tried alot of things to try to help him after many sleepless night I found these bottles and they WORKED immediately!! I usually had a very hard time feeding my son and all he would do is cry because he had so much gas and I felt helpless because I didnt think anything was going to work after trying many things to try to help him. Now I feed my son with no problems he loves the bottles and he now he is a very happy baby. I must say these bottles are a miracle!!! He falls asleep with no problems and finally I get some sleep. I also changed his water to distilled water and that seemed to help also I heard from the worker at babies r us that regular water and also he harmful to there little tummy's it's worth it if it helps my little one =O)Anyway, I highly recommend these bottles if you have a baby with colic you will not regret it!! Good luck Rating: - Bottle really helps I had a terrible time with my colicy son. I started bottle feeding him with Avent; it was expensive and my son cried during and after the 45 minute feedings. Then I tried the Playtex disposables; this was better but my son was still crying and it still took 35-40 minutes for him to eat not to mention the difficulty keeping track of how much he ate (folds in bag). Finally, when my son was eleven weeks and he continued to have mild colic, an experienced friend suggested Dr. Brown's. These have been wonderful. My son eats 6-8 ounces in 20 minutes. He has less gas and less burping. He actually has a contented smile on his face during and after eating. Our evenings are no longer filled with screams. He sleeps 9-10 hours a night from the day I began using these bottles. I couldn't ask for a better recomendation than the smile on his face and his peaceful sleep. I have recommended these bottles to all my friends.
