Our sons is 4 months old, and although he's about to outgrow the height requirement of the seat, has had a comfortable and safe seat to travel in. The LATCH system makes installation simple and you know that the seat is secure. The 5 point harness system is a must-have. The harness is easy to adjust since the strap mechanism is located at the front of the carseat. Of course, any Graco SnugRide is a good choice for an infant carseat/carrier, but I will admit to picking this particular model because of the adorable French Bear pattern! Rating: - Just curious about material I have been researching car seats for us to purchase and at first we seemed to like the Snugride infant carseat with latch-Glen Plaid. But have read that the material makes the baby very hot. We live in South Florida and I am concerned about this. I was wondering if this car seat had the same type of material or if anyone felt that this was not an issue with this car seat (French bear)? Rating: - Very easy to install and use! This is a great car seat. My friend is a certified carseat installer and she said this was one of the easiest ones she has ever installed. Also, she bought a Britax which was to bulky for her infant daughter and wished she had bought the Graco. The seat snaps in the base quickly for convenient in and out usage. There was a recall on this carseat but Graco notified me immediately and told me what parts to check for and I had nothing wrong with my seat.
