Rating:  - The best carrier ever!!!
This is the best carrier ever. My husband spent hours looking and trying out all of the backpacks at Babies R Us and we took two others home before we kept this one. My daughter is 13 months old and loves to be carried around in this backpack. My husband straps on the pack with her in it and carriers her all over the house while he does his chores. He calls it his "bonding time." My daughter just giggles the whole time. The pack has great hip and shoulder padding compared to others. Our favorite feature is the kick stand and handles to make it easy to put her down on the ground for a moment and then pick her back up again. The only problem we had was that we broke the height adjustment by the hips, but evenflo sent us another one quickly. It was an easy fix. We debated whether to take it back and we decided against it. We are glad that we kept it. It was the best investment!!!

My son quickly became too large for his kangaroo carrier, so I began looking for a backpack carrier. Initially I bought a cheaper model carrier, but ended up returning it within an hour. It did not adjust and it did not keep the baby strapped in tightly. The trailblazer carrier is well designed and very comfortable. I am 5'7" and my husband is 6'1". With just the few easy adjustments, this carrier can be used by either one of us. My son is currently 12 months old and weighs over 25 pounds. I am able to put him in the carrier and go anywhere with him. I have made several trips to the zoo using this carrier, and I barely know that the carrier is there. He enjoys the zoo alot while in the carrier, because he is up high and can see the animals well. I can walk for hours with my son on my back. The carrier also has a kickstand that holds the carrier up. When needed the carrier can be used for feeding the baby (with close supervision). Not only is this carrier easily adjusted, but it is very attractive and the canopy is very functional. I receive a lot of compliments from other parents. Many people have asked me where I purchased the carrier. Some of the other reviewers mention that it is hard to strap the child in because the clips are located between two pieces of the carrier. Evenflo must have considered some of those complants, because the newer models do not have that problem. The clips are now located above the child's shoulders, so they are extremely easy to hook and adjust I love it, my husband loves it, and more importantly my son loves it. I do not have any complaints about this carrier. This is a must have item once your child outgrows the kangaroo carriers. I highly recommend it.

We bought this backpack for our 8 month old daughter for our trip to the Oregon Coast. We used it for walks on the beach, a trip to the aquarium and for a day of shopping. Our daughter is very inquisitive and loves to see what is happening around her. After adjusting the pack so that it rested on my hips instead of my shoulders, I hardly knew I was wearing it. I felt as if she was secure and she just loved it! She actually fell asleep in it on the beach! We were lucky to get one of the new models with the harness buckles on the shoulders. If you are thinking of getting a backpack carrier - consider this one. It is a great item for the price. We will use it for a long time!
