We purchased the Portabout 5 Travel System with LATCH - Steamboat
by Evenflo. I played with the system in the store. Actually I played with quiet a few. I chose that one because of the lightness. I got it home and started playing with the carseat. I had a difficulty time manuevering the handle. My fiance and mother could manuever it just fine. That's great for them but I'm not with them 24/7 a lot of good they would do me when I'm alone with a newborn and a 23 month old baby. I needed something quick and easy. Also when the handle was being placed up and down I noticed the canopy would lift off the back. I didn't like that. The only thing I didn't like about the stroller was that my baby had 2 choices to either be fully reclined or sit straight up. Don't you just hate when you're at the mall and you see babies dangling to the side because they are sitting so straight? So after weeks of looking all over, comparing ratings, I've taken the Evenflo back and purchased this. Yes, the stroller is slightly heavy but how often do you carry a stroller around? I think the weight is petty. If that's the worst people can come up with then this is a very good system. I love the simple fold, heck I just love everything about the stroller. The fact that the basket is easy accessible when fully reclined is a very big bonus for me! Carseat was simple to get in and out of stroller, the handle was simple to manuever, the seat so far seems light but I don't plan to carry a baby around in the seat. Put the system together was a breeze, did it in about 15 minutes and I think it wouldn't have taken me that long had I not been watching the Seattle Mariners Baseball game. HA! I highly recommend this stroller, like I said it's slightly heavy. But I'm 5'3 and pre-pregnancy weight is 95lbs. I wasn't impressed with the pattern picture online. It's definately a must see in person. The picture does it no justice! Very pretty pattern!

I got this travel system before I knew what sex my baby was. I turned out to be a boy. The colors of the stroller are unique and can be used for either sex. I can always find my stroller among other strolles. All other strollers are the tradional blue, which is boring. The colors on this stroller are really refreshing. The stroller handles very well over all kinds of terrain, the storage basket is big and the compartment on top is great for extra pacifiers and napkins. The car seat is also really good, the only problem I have is with the stroller is only has a 2 position seat. Most stollers have a 5 position seat. Another problem is the stroller is very heavy and takes up alot of room in the car. But overall this is one of the best travel systems stroller out there

I purchased this stroller for our second baby based on the rating and other reviews, and I have to agree this is the best stroller I've ever used. The best thing about it is it's agility. It turns on a dime with one hand. The extra's are great, several cup holders, temperature & time display, large cargo underneath, a closed compartment at the handle where you can easily store money/change, glasses, lists, etc. It's easy to lay the bed down flat for the baby, but put the seat-back up and my 4-yr-old also thinks it's great. I get asked a lot about it (many people love the colors) and don't hesitate to tell them how great an investment this is. My thanks to the other reviewers who helped me make this choice.
