Rating: - Great for swaddling!
So many baby blankets have a weave too tight for swaddling. You really need a blanket that stretches in order to get a nice tight swaddle. This blanket is perfect - I bought three of them.It's a perfect weight, I used it in summer (with just a onesie underneath) and in winter (with footie pajamas). If you are going to swaddle (and I recommend you do!), this blanket is a must!

This blanket is absolutely adorable. It is light but not light enough that it won't keep baby warm. It's very good for swaddling as other reviewers have stated. It washes well w/o shrinkage. It's also much larger than most recieving blankets. This blanket is a definite must have.

I love this blanket so much, I also have the white version.During this summer's heatwave, I wanted a light yet useful blanket. The waffle-weave prevents baby from overheating. It also adds a bit of grip so I can use it on the stroller for additional shade. The size is just right. Large enough to wrap him, small enough to carry with ease. My son loves both these blankets. They wash up perfectly. I've never had a stain that would not come out with a hot water wash. I highly recommend this as a shower registry/gift pick.
