A fried of ours that has the Diaper Genie took a look at ours and said it was much better and simpler. The only problem I've had is that the door sometimes doesn't stay on that great because we have thick carpeting that it has to sit on, so it makes it somewhat unstable. However, there is still no odor, even when the door falls off the front. My daugther will be 4 months old next week and we are just having to buy our second box of refills. So basically, it took one refill a month. ( the one that came with the pail and the 3 from the refill box) Rating: - Better than diaper genie I love this little device! It is so much better than the diaper genie. It is simple to use, and easy to refill. I was thinking of my husband when I picked this item, the easier the better. Just one simple step and your finished. No smell and you can do it with no hands! Rating: - love it! I used the diaper genie with my first two children, and the Diaper Dekor with my last two-hands down I would choose the diaper dekor, and the refills. The refills hold more diapers, are much stronger and easier to use and install, and have a lot less smell to me than the genie. Also, its very simple for both my 2 and 4 yr. olds to use. Thanks for a great option to holding all those nasty diapers. A helpful hint, for real bad diapers, put them into a plastic sandwich bag and it holds the smell much better!
